Productivity, Time Cards, and Mileage
The visit numbers that matter, the Monday payroll deadline, and the mileage rules people most often get wrong.
Productivity

All-staff meeting
Second Wednesday of the month, 8:30 am.

Time card
We record our own payroll weekly.
Everything must be submitted and completed by Monday at 8:00 am to be paid for it.
Once a visit assessment is saved for the week it pulls across to the time card — but it still has to be submitted and completed by that deadline. A saved-but-unsubmitted assessment does not get paid, and it is the most common reason a visit goes missing from a cheque.
On-call
Choose the option matching what you were actually assigned: Weekday, Weekday Holiday, Weekend, or Weekend Holiday.
Phone allowance
Use it once, on the last Sunday of the month.
Mileage
Mileage is recorded in the top right corner of each assessment.
Subtract 30 miles before adding mileage for the day, each day.
That deduction is the rule people most often get wrong, and getting it wrong in either direction creates a correction someone has to chase.
The exceptions

Missed visits and pay
Neither you nor the company is paid for a missed visit.
That is a payroll fact, not a reason to cut an attempt short. The agency's instruction is to go and check on a patient who does not answer — see Missed Visits and Non-Admits.
